TRAVEL | Barcelona

A short flight from Heathrow & a quick taxi ride from the airport and you reach on of my favourite cities. Barcelona. I’ve only been before in the middle of summer so it was a delight to experience this gorgeous little city in the winter. The vibe is more relaxed, its a little less busy & its pretty chilly, take a warm jacket ;)

Ohla Hotel

A 5 star hotel with minimalist interiors, big beds and amazing bath tubs! Apparently there is a cool rooftop bar & a glass sided swimming pool but we didn’t actually make it to the roof - saving that for when we return in the summer.

Its super central - located in the Gothic Quarter its a short walk from the beach, shops & bars. Perfect!

Con Gracia

A little culinary gem in the heart of Gracia. Pick the ‘experimental’ menu & you won’t be disappointed.  A surprise tasting menu with wines that compliment the food beautifully. Go there hungry, there are 9 course to work your way through.

C. Martínez de la Rosa, 8, 08012 Barcelona

Run by Michelin-Star chef Marc Gascons and tucked away in The Serras Hotel, the food is unbelievable, the service is amazing & its only a 10 minute walk from the hotel.  Its a little pricey but so worth it. Special occasion

Crepes al borne - Greeted with a smile and a cocktail menu - And the cocktails are awesome!

Park Guell

One of the most beautiful icons of Barcelona. Designed by Gaudi, an enchanting place with a beautiful mosaic dragon guarding the steps up to the entrance. Book a time slot online and save yourself from queuing.

Camp Nou - the home of Barcelona FC, yes, its a football stadium but the Camp Nou Experience is actually really good. Especially if you are travelling with a guy! They'll love it & you for taking them there ;)
